The Clock

I went to the Wexner Center for the Arts to see "The Clock" exhibit. At first I thought it was going to be a little boring, but watching it was completely opposite. First, I didnt realized it was synced to the time outside, so I thought that was something cool that happened just for me, which would have been awesome, but it was still cool.  The time that must have gone into making a video that has a minute from every hour of every day and then the time that it would take to set up an exhibit that could play a video like this would be incredibly complex, which makes the video very impressive. The actual video itself I found intriguing but also stressful. The constant clock checking made me feel like someone was coming after me. However, as I watched I didnt even realize how much time is passing because it was so interesting watching all the different clips, guessing what was coming next, and looking for celebrities.

I have always thought of myself as a creative person, but I am more design orientated than artistic. I usually do not enjoy artwork with heavy messages that dont actually do anything, especially films. However, this was definitely something I would pay to see and actually enjoyed.
